In the beginning

We discovered kombucha some years ago and we started brewing at home. We began sharing the magical drink with family and friends. Soon the hobby grew into a passion and we found ourselves surrounded by kombucha fans. So we gathered the courage to start expanding our skills and abilities in manufacturing the elixir of life.

What is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a living probiotic tea.

Natural probiotic

It is a naturally fermented tea, rich in probiotics, vitamin C, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, enzymes and amino acids. It has been known since ancient times as the "Elixir of Life" providing health, energy and longevity. It is a mighty detoxicator, antioxidant, alkalizer and natural probiotic.


Sparkling and refreshing

Kombucha is brewed by combining tea and sugar with a fermenting culture - SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast), called also a "mother". The SCOBY uses the sugar for the fermentation process thus leaving only a small amount of residual sugar in the final beverage. The result is a sparkling refreshing natural tonic, not too sweet or too tart.

Kombucha is a living probiotic tea.

There are many different options. We advise you to listen to your body. We suggest starting with a small dose of 150ml per day and increasing the amount to your liking. Do not start drinking kombucha for the first time on an empty stomach.

Drink plenty of water when you drink kombucha so you can flush the toxins out of your body. Share with friends!

Gut health – Kombucha is rich in probiotics. Probiotic bacteria are similar to healthful bacteria that are found in the gut thus supporting the digestive system.  The link between healthy bacteria in the digestive system and immune function is becoming clearer as more studies focus on gut health. If the probiotics in kombucha improve gut health, they may also strengthen the immune system.

Detoxification – Teeming with enzymes and bacterial acids, kombucha is believed to aid in the natural process of detoxification. Gluconic acid, which is found in kombucha, may bind to toxins to help expel them from the body, according to scientific evidence.
Glucaric acid, also a product of kombucha tea fermentation, may boost the efficiency of the liver’s detoxifying tracts.

Immune system stimulation – The healthy gut bacteria gained by drinking kombucha may help stimulate the immune system. Probiotics, specifically from those in fermented foods, can strengthen our natural defenses against harmful microbes and some forms of illnesses.

Prevention of arthritis, cancer and heart disease – Glucaric acid, which is found in kombucha and foods like grapefruit and cruciferous veggies, may help reduce cancer risk. Lactobacillus type microbes found in kombucha may also activate our natural cancer-killing cells. Another powerful compound found in kombucha is glucosamine, which can stave off and treat all types of arthritis.  Kombucha may also help maintain healthy cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels.

Mood enhancement – The B vitamins in kombucha, specifically vitamins B1, B6, and B12, may help battle depression, stabilize mood, and enhance concentration. The vitamin C in kombucha, in turn, inhibits the release of stress hormone cortisol. 

Kombucha is made by the following ingredients: tea, sugar, filtered water, scoby (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) and flavors.

Tea: We carefully choose the tea, we use various kind of loose leave teas and tea blends – sencha green tea, Jasmine green tea, Oolong tea, Pu Erh tea, Hibiscus flower tea.
Sugar: We brew the tea then we add the needed amount of sugar. Most of the sugar is consumed by the yeasts during the fermentation process and the optimum dose of sugar is reached to perfectly balance the mix of flavors in every kombucha batch. We do not use any artificial sweetener or sweetening agents.

Water: We use filtered by reverse osmosis water which is later carefully mineralized.  
Scoby: The Kombucha culture or Scoby for Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast – is a combination of living yeasts and good bacteria. Yeasts are commonly found in many food production processes, such as those of bread, cheese,  wine and beer. The “good” bacteria or probiotics, are typically present in the production of yogurt and vinegar. This culture of microorganisms is the very base of the fermentation process that allows to turn tea into tasty Kombucha.
Flavours:  Each of our varieties has a unique flavour reached by the different tea blend as well as the natural ingredients we use. We add to our brew a mix of herbs,  fresh fruit and vegetable juices, etc. The result is a sparkling refreshing natural tonic.
